  • Before Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja, there was World of Goo gaining awards for originality and being simply one of the best casual games of the generation. Now the game, that’s already been available on the Play Store for a while comes with a price reduction, making it $3 cheaper, so it costs $1.99. The creation of 2D Boy, this game takes up 46 MB of storage and requires Android 2.2 to work.

The idea is simple: you drag and drop living and talking globs of goo so you’ll make structures that once united are bridges to other areas you can’t reach otherwise. The little fellow can also turn into the shape of a cannonball, zeppelin and any other thing you can imagine. The objective is to guide a bunch of goo blobs to a pipe in each of the stages. In order to reach your goal, the blobs must be united into a structure long enough so it reaches the pipe.

Lines appear when you place a new goo, showing you how to connect the rest of the structure. When the line is thicker, the connection is stronger, when it’s thinner, you may fail. There’s a minimum number of goos that need to be sucked into the pipe so you can move, so don’t go throwing goos around, okay? The game is up for download here.
