  • Maybe Windows 8 does not have a regular Start Menu but you can add one very easy with the help of a freeware app. Such is the case with Android, where except for the freeware part you can not only get a familiar Start Button interface, but also a Task Bar and Side Menu. All in a very authentic look.

Developer FleeOn has decided on an implementation for Android concerning the Windows 7 Start Menu and button. The app offers a very well implemented interface for having not only a familiar way of accessing your apps, but also some highly appreciated extra options. Upon installing the app you will find the regular Windows 7 style button in the bottom-left side of the screen.

Windows 7 Task Bar also offers a way to quickly access a list of currently open app in a multitasking interface. Long pressing the Start Button will show or hide the menu and you can even add frequently used apps to the left side of it, just like with the Microsoft built version. The app also offers a search interface for apps and even a task killer that can be accessed with ease. It is currently offered on sale for up to 70% off to commemorate release and is available on the Play Store.
