  • If you’re a fan of Sega’s most famous product, Sonic, know that you can now get one of their Android games for just $2.99 now. I’m talking about Sonic CD, an Android game available for as low as $2.99. The creation of Sega America, this title is quite big, taking up 262MB of space. It requires Android 2.1 and up and features 16:9 widescreen graphics and both the US and Japanese soundtracks.

In Sonic CD our beloved blue hedgehog has to fight Dr. Eggman and destroy his nefarious schemes. The spiky creature must use the power of Little Planet to travel through time in order to cancel Dr. Eggman’s control over the future. Sonic must destroy the doctor’s machines and recover the Time Stones. Sonic CD is Xperia Play optimized and also prepared for gameplay on tablets. Immersion Haptic vibration feedback is also integrated into the game.

In case you didn’t know, Sonic the Hedgehog dates from back in 1991, when the title was first released on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, that made Sega into a huge company. The first Sonic games were platform titles, but now the series has entered new realms, such as action adventure, fighting, racing and role playing even, just like Mario. You can download Sonic CD from here.
