  • If you need an app that allows you to access your desktop remotely, then RDM+ Remote Desktop is exactly what you need. And that’s especially because the software is now $5 cheaper, being priced at $4.99. The software is made by Shape, requires Android 2.2 and up and takes up less than 1 MB of storage.

With this app you can access and control your Mac or Windows PC remotely from the mobile device. You can send and receive e-mails, edit documents and browse the web in peace. Of course there’s also file management and many other tasks that you usually do on desktop, but are now easily performed in a remote manner. You just need to install the app on your Android device and the RDM+ Desktop on the remote computer you are using. It doesn’t even need special firewall or router settings, so that’s cool.

Standard Windows and Mac hotkeys are supported and pinch to zoom in/zoom out is also there. Copying, renaming and deleting files from the distance is available and it works both with WiFi and cellular connectivity. The app brings an extra security feature, that makes the data exchange totally safe and private. There’s a master password that protects the list of your computers, so even if your Android handset is stolen, the evil doer won’t be able to control your PC. The app is up for download here.
