  • MDScan Mobile Doc Scanner from Stoik is an app that helps you scan documents using your Android device’s camera and the good news is that the software is now part of a price reduction special offer. That involves an 80% off sale, so its price dropped $4, reaching 99 cents. The app requires Android 2.2 and up and it takes up just 1.7 MB of storage.

Mobile Doc Scanner is a business tool, that allows you to transform any file into PDF format. Then you can share it from your device and you’re also free to scan any type of document you want, from receipts to text pages. Invoices, whiteboards, class notes, even magazine articles can be transformed into PDFs stored on your device and exported, share or emailed. MDScan can detect borders of the paper automatically, correct distorsion and equalize brightness for more legible documents.

There’s also a Batch shooting mode included, for a super fast scanning, that allows you to scan fast some pages and then process them later. You can also resort to manual advanced image processing in order to enhance the poor quality images and documents. Cloud storage and social networking integration are available here as well. You can download the app from here.
