  • If you want to scan documents using your mobile phone’s camera, there’s an app for that, called MDScan: Mobile Doc Scanner, from STOIK. The app is now on sale, a limited time offer that takes the price down with $4, making it reach 99 cents. The app is very lightweight at 1.6 MB of storage and it requires Android 2.2 and up.

The software is a business tool exclusively for Android and it allows you to transform any file/document into a PDF format and share it from your device. MDScan users are free to scan any sort of document, including receipts, text pages and homework, for that matter. You can easily export the PDF, share it and email to friends and also know that the app will detect borders, correct distorsions and equalize brightness to create clear and legible documents at very high speed.

Using MDScan you will be able to upload and convert documents and it also supports cloud storage services, like Dropbox, Google Docs, Box.net, email services, Facebook and even Twitter. There’s also manual free Advanced image processing, that enhances poor quality images and documents. You can quickly scan and manage multiple pages while on the go. The app is up for download here.
