  • iMediaShare is an app from Bianor, that got a hefty price reduction, going for 99 cents, which is $4 cheaper than the usual price. The application allows you to play videos from your handset to your HDTV. This doesn’t involve any type of box, cables or TV apps, as you just need to pick a video and tap to play.

The last update of the app was in November and this piece of software works on Android 1.6 devices and up. The app takes up 3.3 MB of storage and has a great selection to pick from, including the likes of YouTube and Vimeo, that are now brought to your HDTV. You can also stream personal and online videos, photos and music to a large screen TV in the area.

There’s also a lite version of the app, but the paid one has some advantages over the lite one, like the presence of more online video channels in HD, the ad free experience, video playback from YouTube links and support for arbitrary mpeg files from Internet and other apps. Xbox and Ps3 consoles are supported. The app is up for download here.
