  • The definition of top down dual stick shooters has got to be Guerilla Bob, that’s now available with a price reduction. This hit iOS shooter is available on Android with a price tag that’s 66% lower than usual. In order to celebrate the release of the Predators game, Angry Mob Games decided to make this cut, bringing the price down to 99 cents.

The title received a ton of prizes back in the days when it was released. The title has you playing as Bob, a hardened warrior, who will wield a machinegun, timed bombs, molotov cocktails, a shotgun, rocket launcher, grenade launcher and sticky bow across visually stunning levels. The battles are fast paced and boss fights are truly epic. The game offers 7 missions to progress through and on easy mode you’ll finish them in an hour or two. The hard difficulty offers more of a challenge and lengthens the gameplay time, as enemies will fire more rapidly and will appear in greater numbers.

The game is set in the middle east and the thumb sticks shown on the screen are highly responsive. There’s also a Survival mode, if you want something harder. The backgrounds are beautifully rendered and enemies are also well done. There are different strategies of attack for each enemy, which is also a nice feat of the game. The original soundtrack and voice overs are also top notch, filled with military cliches and all that. The game is up for download here and provides cross platform multiplayer.
