  • They made a movie about it! You played it on your old PC and now it’s available on your phone. I’m talking about famous FPS Doom, now on sale on Google Play Store for 99 cents. This is 33% price reduction for the game posted in Play Store by Jack Niu. The title was updated on June 7th and requires 62MB of storage.

The game works great on the Xperia Play and it’s even compatible with the controls, according to people who tried it on that device. Doom is a 1993 first person shooter that was originally created by id Software. It was THE title that made FPS genre more popular and brought 3D graphics to the scene, as well as multiplayer and customized add ons via packages known as WADs. WADs are also supported in the Android version of the game. You probably know the story already: you control a space marine, who must destroy demons from Hell and escape a military base on Phobos, one of the Mars moons.

In Doom you can use weapons such as a pistol, chainsaw, shotgun, chaingun, rocket launcher, plasma rifle and the BFG 9000. Pickups include a backpack that increases your ammo carrying capability, first aid kits and a berserk pack. You can download this fantastic classic from here.
