  • Chamelon Launcher, a very interesting way to customize your tablet UI is now 60% cheaper, going for $3.99. This is a revolutionary and tablet-oriented launcher that allows the user to create multiple home screens, each one with a special custom layout of widgets and applications. The application has reached version 1.1.2 and it requires Android 3.2 and up.

The size of the software is 6.9 MB and widgets include here include ones for Facebook, Calendar, Clock, Google+, Facebook and more. Chameleon came to life following a successful Kickstarter campaign. This widget-reliant launcher feels very unified and looks colorful and modern. It also has context based triggers for home screen launches and apps are present at the bottom inside a dock area. Animations for moving from one screen to the other are sharp and responsive, while the widget layout switches from portrait or landscape in a very nice manner.

The idea of Chamelon is to automatically switch the home screens when you access a specific WiFi zone, so just like the lizard, it adapts to the situation/place. It can also change depending on your GPS coordinates or your clock when it reaches a certain hour. Usually the app cost $10, so this is a pretty solid deal, especially since other big name premium launchers go for $4 or close to it. You can get the Chameleon Launcher for tablets from here.
