  • It has been recently announced that Facebook is revising their polices when it comes to the official apps for mobile devices. With the upcoming major release native Android code will be used, instead of HTML5 that caused users to be dissatisfied with the app’s performance. While this is not the update we’ve been waiting for, the latest version of Facebook for Android brings a number of improvements.

Mostly in terms of photo handling and uploading, the new version of Facebook for Android improves some very important aspects. The first thing you will notice is shorter times required for photo uploading as they have been working on making the process faster. From now on you will be able to choose the folder for uploading photos, something third party Facebook apps have been offering for some time. The app also comes with fixes for a photo upload bug affecting people using certain languages.

The latest version of Facebook for Android is available for free on the Play Store.
