NVIDIA Gives a New Demo of Project Shield: The Conduit HD (Video)

  • NVIDIA is back with yet another demo of its portable console: Project Shield. They are giving a demo of the game The Conduit HD below, that actually launched in the Tegra 3 version for Android last week.


    This time we’re dealing with a game optimized for the Project Shield and the Tegra 4 CPU. The Conduit HD is being set in the near future, in America and the main character is Michael Adams, a Secret Service agent in Washington DC. He is recruited into a shadow organization called Trust and has to combat aliens and humans. There are 18 weapons to play with and 14 enemies.

    Visual enhancements of the game were done courtesy of the High Voltage software. They deal with improved polygon count and enhanced lighting. There’s a slight Halo vibe to this game and also the Resistance series from the PS3, which is a cool thing, since both were cool games. More details in the videos below.
