  • The Nova Launcher is one of the most famous custom launchers in the Google Play Store and today it gets a serious update to version 2.3. The changes brought here may remind you of Android 4.4 KitKat, actually quite a bit.

We’ve got the new KitKat style scroll indicator, folders, fonts and a new app drawer icon. There’s even that slick transparent look included, but it requires Android 4.4 to shine on a device. The changelog includes KitKat folders, with light background and light circle, plus the KitKat font, with the Condensed look and feel.

We’ve got a KitKat type app drawer icon and you can get the old icon by long pressing the drawer icon and selecting Edit then tapping the icon if you want. There are also small autohiding tabs in the app drawer (Drawer – Small Tabs) and transparent system bars. Backup management has been improved and the ability to backup and restore from an external SD card is also here

There’s a download link right here.
