Nexus 5 Gets Pictured In Clearer Shots, Seems to Confirm LG as the Maker
The Nexus 5 is becoming more and more real, after leaking last week in an official Google Android 4.4 KitKat video, in the hands of an employee. Then came the FCC filing of the device and now some fresh pictures have appeared.
The handset seems to have a pretty impressive camera sensor at the back and its overall size feels a lot like the Nexus 4. The LG logo at the back confirms yet again its South Korean maker and it appears that LG is getting a repeat job. We’re intrigued by the little square hole at the top of the back area, which may be related to an infrared sensor or a fingerprint scanner, if you ask me.
Seen from the side, the handset looks a bit thick and its back side feels like soft touch material. The back side of the phone makes it feel more like a HTC than an LG. By the way, the big camera may mean we’re finally getting a quality photo/video experience on a Nexus handset. We all know they’ve been lacking in this area…
From what I can see in the final picture of the gallery, the Nexus 5 comes with a removable back cover, without a microSD card slot, but it has NFC and what looks like a wireless charging mechanism.
