  • In regards to the Android OS one thing that has to be admitted is the fact that the number of tablet oriented apps is not that great. Compared to the similar offer on the iOS platform, on Android we sometimes find that even the most basic apps lack an interface designed for the tablet orientation.

Today Yahoo announced its latest changes when it comes to its official app on the Android platform. The major enhancement comes in the form of a tablet oriented interface, making it a lot more attractive and easy to use on the larger screen devices. The developer notes that tablet users can now access an advanced triage feature to manage their inbox quicker.

Also for tablet use comes the new ‘reading mode’ which makes reading your emails easier. There are also features for the benefit of everyone, like a starred folder for viewing your important email. You are now able to switch accounts via the sidebar menu and many bug fixes have been included in what seems to be a major update. Get the new version now from the Store.
