  • Opera Browser has managed to stand out as one of the best choices in terms of mobile browsers available on virtually any platform. The new redesigned version has been advertised since a while back and is now out of beta and available on the Play Store.

Like Chrome and Firefox, Opera offers a beta version for the Android platform in order to test the latest features and implementations. Opera Beta has been available in a completely new redesigned form on the Store, integrating a new Webkit based engine and lots of UI changes. Now implemented in the stable release, Opera brings a new experience, coupled with the data saving features that are so popular among all versions of the browser.

Opera for Android comes with a new start screen – Speed Dial that offers access to the most used pages. The new rendering engine based on Chromium 26 is advertised as both fast and highly reliable, while the Off-Road mode is meant to help users save data on 3G/4G networks. The browser also integrates a Top-Stories page, available at a swipe away and offering the latest news from around the world. Users will benefit from the new consistent design changes, with a new webpage switching interface and lots more.

Download the new stable release of Opera for Android from the Google Play Store.
