  • If Steve Wozniak got his own game on iOS, an action game with Danny Trejo no less, why wouldn’t Shaq get his own title? Well, Shaquile O’Neal has a game on the Play Store and it’s not even related to sports. This is a post apocalyptic title that features zombies, dubbed ShaqDown and priced at 99 cents.

As far as I can see this is a 2D platformer that involves jumping between platforms that are filled with mutant brain eaters. You can break through defenses with a free throw and Shaq, just like in some sort of anime will also shout “Free Throw” when he performs that combo. The game takes up around 30 MB of storage and it allows you to control Shaq and use powerful abilities and kills.

There are 3 stages to play in and 3 big bosses. You earn Shaqra to unlock new game modes and hours of fun. The graphics and animation are all HD and are done by Street Fighter artist Long Vo, that’s felt at first glance. I feel just like in the 1990s when such games were big and the styling is truly amazing for an anime fan. The game is up for download here.
