  • We informed you about the arrival of a Wipeout-like game on the Play Store last autumn and now the game is finally here. Courtesy of Pixelbite, we get a brand new title called Repulze, that puts you at the helm of a hovercraft/spaceship and has you racing through futuristic arenas.

The game takes up 256 MB of storage and it goes for $3. It requires Android 2.2 at least to run and the graphics look stunning. The developers of Reckless Racing have tried to stay away from the classic Wipeout recipe and deliver an original title, so they implemented an interesting system that involves getting 3 types of energy and then switching polarity top red/green.

Repulze offers touch and tilt controls, 7 hypersonic hovercraft to control and 24 tracks to race on. There are 3 game phases with varied play and all sorts of challenges along the way: energy gates, magnets, shortcuts, weapons and AI opponents. Xperia Play is also supported by the way. You can download the game from here.
