New Game: Old School is a Game Named After the Movie With the same Title; Tower Defense Game!
Big Blue Bubble created an unusual title called Old School and related to the movie with the same name, dating from 2003. It had Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell as the main characters, as they tried to rediscover the frat boy feeling by living without their wives and constantly partying in a mansion.
Now imagine that turned into a tower defense game… crazy as it sounds. Well, it’s been done here and it costs $1 to download. This is a pretty standard tower defense game, that involves you defending the frat house from party poopers like cops jocks, nerds and hippies. Talk about stereotypes among stereotyped people, right? You can use pledges from the movie as defense turrets and level them up as you go.
Big Blue Bubble already has a famous title under its belt: Burn the Rope and this time they resorted to AppBackr, a sort of Kickstarter for mobile apps to get support for this game. Available in the Play Store here, Old School offers you 30 levels and pledges that shoot weapons that stay true to the movie. Each pledge has 4 levels of upgrades.
