  • The format of free runner/endless runner games is constantly changing and it has evolved a lot since Temple Run. The perspective was changed by Die Hard, that allowed you to shoot guns and run at the same time, while Iron Man 3 will turn endless running into flying. Meanwhile, there’s a freshly launched game called Into the Dead that turns endless running into a first person affair.

I’ve seen some reports that the game has some issues on the Nexus 10 and the Nexus 7, with horizontal stripes showing up in the middle of the screen. I can confirm that, since I’m playing with a Nexus 10 right now. The graphics are cartoonish, dark, creepy and there’s a slight Walking Dead vibe here. The game has an eerie atmosphere and music and it’s very fun if you like zombie-related titles.

The point of the game is to avoid the undead, shoot the enemies and get as far ahead as possible. You’ll be strolling through a field, forest, in crops of vegetables and several other locations. Perks include random crates with weapons and there’s even a chainsaw to play with. I can solidly recommend this game and you can get it from here.
