  • Gameloft has just released a new title onto the Play Store today, a strategy game that’s also a bit of a simulator, a war simulator. Believe it or not, World at Arms, the newcomer has some pretty impressive graphics for a strategy game, especially for one on mobile. The eternal theme is here: you play as USA, that’s under attack and fighting the enemy called KRA.

This is a pretty expanded simulator of warfare, where you get to manage both the combat and economy of it all. You can collect resources, upgrade technology, build units and upgrade them, just like you did in Command & Conquer, for example. I should mention that the game is available for free and requires Android 2.3 to run. Units and buildings are realistic and animations look stunning. Look at the trailer below, if you don’t believe me. The economy part of the game involves turning resources into units and building and creating a superpower.

Over 75 missions are available and you’re allowed to attack any player in the world, make some looting for bonuses and reach the top of the leaderboards. This is done via multiplayer and the cool thing about playing with other people is that you can share units with friends and help them defeat common foes. You can also borrow stuff from them to aid you in battle. So, are you ready to download the game from here?
