  • I’ve seen seeing the Epoch game in the App Store on iOS for a while now, but never tried it. However, the game became interesting today when it finally hit Android, bringing with it a sci-fi adventure of robot mayhem. This is all courtesy of Uppercut Games.

Also, you should probably know that Epoch is based on Unreal Engine technology, Unreal Engine 3 actually and it takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, where robots battle for survival. The storyline sounds dramatic and the graphics are pretty hot, but people are complaining about the lack of free roaming and repetitiveness.

You can control your robot and fight other robots, everything being performed with swipe gestures in order to dodge fire and take cover. Each robot also has special abilities and you can upgrade your main character as you progress. The title costs $4.99 and allows you to control the robot with finger swipes, take cover, select targets, dodge fire, counter attack or use special abilities. The game is up for download here.
