  • If you loved Dungeon Crawlers back in the 1990s, then the just released Dungeon Quest will be right there with your favourites. Available on Android right now for free, this dungeon crawler has you playing as a mage that looks like a young Gandalf of sorts or like an older Vivi from Final Fantasy IX.

Dungeon Crawlers are still big nowadays and the credit here goes partially to the likes of Torchlight. You should probably know that Dungeon Quest is still in beta phase, so that’s why it offers only one class of character, the mage. The levels are randomized and equipment is enough for everyone. There are 100 levels to have fun with and 5 difficulty settings. The game comes from Shiny Box, it takes up 20 MB of storage and requires Android 2.2 and up.

This action RPG features random loot, random dungeons and 4 acts, each with a tough legendary boss. The Wizard/mage class has spells from mystical weapon types with infinite customization. The loot can be upgraded using the Enchanting and Stat Rerolling systems. There’s also an experience leaderboard, so you can compare performances with other players. You can get the game from here.
