  • Well, turns out we can’t have a major movie coming out without also getting an associated game, this time available on Android. The freshly launched Die Hard game is a tie-in with the movie A Good Day to Die Hard, now in cinemas. Offered by Fox Digital, this game takes up 30 MB of space and it’s available for free.

It requires Android 2.2 and up to work and you play as Jack McClane, the son of New York city’s badass cop, John McClane, played by Bruce Willis in the past Die Hard movies. You will have to go through Moscow and shoot your way around, plus reach Chernobyl and fight some baddies there as well. The cool thing about the game is that it combines the endless runner genre with fist person shooting, so basically we’ve got a Contract Killer meets Temple Run affair, if you want.

The graphics are 3D, colors are vivid and the experience is immersive. The controls are based on swiping and shooting is done with a screen tap. There are lots of characters, gadgets, weapons and outfits to play with, plus a bullet time mode, called Adrenaline. You can get the game from here.
