  • This is probably the most original game… or better said experiment I’ve seen applied on mobile till now. Called Curiosity, this app has all the users in the world chipping away at it little by little in order to reveal its secret. There are new things available to analyze with each layer you uncover and the one that chips the last block will learn a life changing secret.

If you don’t like chipping away at the secret of the cube, there are in app purchases to have fun with, mostly tools. You can even spend up to $80k in real money for a single tool, although that’s crazy. Molyneux said that this is the first of 22 experiments, so we can expect 21 more original games like this in the future. Curiosity requires Android 2.3.3 and up and it’s a casual title, that’s free and takes up just 11 MB of space. Molyneux is famous for titles like Populous, Black & White and now Curiosity.

You chip away at a box and try to find out what’s inside, so the mystery remains. The creator of the game stated today on Twitter and said that the stats of the game are going crazy. 24 million cubes have been destroyed in 4 hours. This is basically a way to unite people into doing a single thing, for a common purpose. Only one may win and everyone wants to be one. Quite a nice experiment… You can download the game from here.
