  • SilverTree Media just launched a new game called Cordy 2, a funky little game with a lovable little robot called Cordy. I actually played the first game and like both the gameplay and the character, plus the mechanics of the title were interesting and somehow reminded me a bit of Jak and Daxter from the PlayStation.

Cordy 2 features the same little robot with a TV for a head and a constant passion for eating electrons. This is a quality platformer, the likes of which it’s hard to find nowadays. The story goes like this: Cordy and Volt have traveled quite a bit of time and finally arrive on World 2. There things are not that peaceful, since the planet is under siege from the evil Boogaloo. You have to stop his robots and save the Zap Drops.

Cordy offers you the chance to play the first 4 levels for free and then enjoy 48 more levels with lovely colourful gameplay in the full version. You can customize the robot with hats and colors, with loads of options to choose from. Cool achievements can be unlocked and the visuals are also much improved from the first title. The title takes up around 40 MB of storage and you will get through 3 beautiful worlds, like the Canirval, the Harmony Harbour and the Sky Factory. You can download the game from here.
