New Game: Asura Cross Fighting Game From Korea Comes to Android (Video)
Straight from big brand Gamevil comes Asura Cross, a fighting game with strong graphic novel origins. This is a game from Korea, that has its origins on the GP32, a handheld gaming system from South Korea. Asura Cross was originally distributed on that platform and now it has reached Android.
The interface is very colourful and there’s a feeling of anime/manga here. Gamevil is known for games like Zenonia and now they tackled the fighting game genre. Asura’s Cross has 8 characters to play with, including a TaeKwon Do fighter called Jin, who uncovers a conspiracy and an assassin called DeeDee. The fighting goes on in 2D and from what I can see the backgrounds are static, not 3D. The controls are emulated through virtual buttons from the original console.
The good news is that game supports WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and it has a versus mode. There’s also the option of seeing the story unfold as a visual novel. You can have a lot of fun with this arcade fighting game and move up in a ladder style competition or simply play with a friend via Bluetooth. You can download the game from here.
