  • Tapatalk HD was released as a beta piece of software for tablets back in October and now it’s back as a full fledged app in the Google Play Store. Two months ago, the app had to be downloaded from the Tapatalk support forums and sideloaded onto devices, but now it’s available through more official means.

This is still a beta released of the Tapatalk HD application, that has reached version 0.9.0, with support for Android 3.0 or later. The folks behind the software claim that it has been built for tablets running either ICS or Jelly Bean, plus it runs on both 7 and 10 inch tablets. This release comes with a gallery view on bigger forums, push notifications for subscribed topics, private messages and more. The app works in both portrait and landscape and it offers you the choice between a dark and light theme.

For those who are not familiar with the app, this is a forum application for Android slates, so you can browse around forums more easily. Gaming forums, movie forums, automotive passionates forums, all of them are available through the app. It takes up just 2.7 MB, it’s free and can be downloaded from here.
