  • The market of Android browsers is pretty crowded, but what we get in quantity we lack in quality, since there are few options that stand out nowadays. One of the good ones is the freshly launched Next Browser, from the creators of GO Launcher.

This will go head to head with the likes of Chrome, Dolphin, Opera and Firefox. It comes as a free download and it’s available on devices running Android 2.2 and up. The browser has elements that you’ve met on other browsers, including a home screen split in 3 panels: a selection of the most visited sites (like Chrome), a Speed dial Page (like Opera), that includes bookmarks and a search and finally Next View, a set of contextual RSS buttons.

The latter may feel a bit like Flipboard to some of you. You can access tabs with a quick swipe to the right and extensions will be found on the right, like on Dolphin. The Settings area brings a more customizable experience than Chrome. We get an integrated download manager with a file path setting and bookmark sync with your Google account. This excellent browser is up for download here.
