  • Rodeo Games is the developer behind this new title on the Play Store for Android smartphones. It combines elements from different genres, such as TBS, strategy and RPG, to create a unique combination that will keep you playing for a while. Hunters: Episode One is already on the Play Store, with Episode Two on its way, available now for iOS.

As the developer describes, Hunters: Episode One is “Set in a Universe where contracts rule, Hunters allows you to build a team of Mercenaries and become the most renowned Bounty Hunters in the Galaxy.” The action is placed somewhere in the future, in the year 2981. The human population has reached its limits in numbers and is now populating Mars. The Governments are corrupted and money is everyone’s goal. Planets are not ruled by governments, but bought by corporations that write contracts in blood to bind the citizens.

The basics of the game are quite easy to understand. With turn-based movement, you have to kill all the enemies you encounter and retrieve and object to achieve your goal. Your troops can be individually upgraded and they each posses a set of skill that can prove vital to some missions. You will have to carefully plan your strategy, as every move takes points that can run out just in the grasp of the enemy. On your way you’ll gather up soldiers and weapons and you’ll be able to customize them to your liking.

Hunters: Episode One is available for purchase on the Play Store.
