New Android Game: Gameloft’s Wild Blood with Graphics Powered by Unreal Technology Just Hit the Play Store
A while back Gameloft had released the first trailer for their upcoming Unreal 3 Engine powered mobile game called Wild Blood. The Wild Blood short trailer showed beautifully designed environments and medieval characters, but did little to reveal the actual game. The game was first released for iOS and received some very good ratings from those that played it.
Wild Blood by Gameloft has just reached the Play Store and though not exactly cheap it promises to offer a delightful experience with top notch graphics and gameplay. The game offers full 3D graphics powered by the Unreal Engine – most popular with some of the best PC titles. Each level has been designed to offer breathtaking visuals and there are 10 of them to explore. The title will have you control Lancelot as he needs to confront King Arthur, who apparently has gone mad, and the evil Morgana in order to free the world from evil creatures and save These Guinevere.
Wild Blood is based on man-to-man combat where you will have to test your skills against all sorts of opponents. The game offers the typical experience of third person hack n ‘slash titles. You move the knight using the virtual touch pad that appears on the left side of the screen. The right side is used to place the camera and attack your enemies or cast spells. Lancelot will gain experience points and gold for destroying his foes and, they can be used to purchase new equipment and improve or expand existing skills. The playgrounds are full of barrels, captive villagers and chests that can be explored to gain gold. You are also invited to solve mini-games that will also earn you some gold.
Gameloft’s Wild Blood is not to be seen just as a demo of the Unreal Engine on the mobile platform. It is one most entertaining title that will have you gaming for hours in a row. You can purchase it from the Play Store.
