  • GMail is one of the most used services available in forms for the web, mobile and third party apps. As such the needs for extensions, including for smartphones or the Chrome browser interface. Among the offers now available on the Store we notice one in particular since now available.

There are so many ways for having the number of unread emails show in the launcher or on the homescreen. You can have a third party app available for customizing the interface of your device or simple shortcuts that show the number of unread items be it mail or SMS. RYO Software’s GMail Unreads Notifier looks to provide a simple and useful way of knowing the number of messages available for you for Android Ice Cream Sandwich and up.

The GMail Unreads app interface is simple enough not to leave you wondering what some of the available options are used for.  So far it is not compatible with a large number of devices but for the main line it has been working very well. It also works with Pebble watch and provides the number of unread items on the screen of the device. You can also set the monitored accounts, ringtone, LED and vibration notifications. Also there is a repeat interval and a number of counts.

GMail Unreads Notifier is now available for free on the Play Store.
