  • If you’re a fan of the Marvel universe, you’ll probably want to know that there’s a new game with the Avengers included for you. It’s available on iOS and on Android it’s coming soon. It costs $6.99 and also features in app purchases. Dubbed Avengers Initiative, the title allows you to play as the Incredible Hulk and follow the storyline of the Pulse, that freed super villains from a prison.

The gameplay is turn based, like Infinity Blade and it also adopts action RPG elements. With touch gestures you will sidestep, deflect or block hits and obviously hit the enemies with a Hulk Smash or something similar. In this game you will build up a rage meter, that allows Hulk to perform super moves, that can be unlocked by leveling up. The game takes place in the same universe as the one of the Facebook Avengers Alliance title. You will use ISO-8 as currency in this title and buy new costumes and powerups.

Marvel also wants to release more heroes for hits game, Captain American, Thor and Iron Man, making the title even cooler. Don’t worry as these new characters won’t come at a price, so they will be free updates. The first new hero will come before the year end. This is a must play for Marvel fans and you’ll fight against enemies such as Wendigo, Abomination, Kronan and more.
