  • Nexon and the developer Replay Studios have released the famous MMO MapleStory on ANdroid and iOS. The fact is that there are already some MapleStory games on mobile, but none of this caliber, meaning a free to play massively multiplayer title that will likely draw millions of users.

Available on the PC for a while now, the title is known on Android as MapleStory Live. You get the same MapleStory from the PC, this time for free, but you only get two classes to play with. The multiplayer isn’t exactly real time, apparently. Players will snoop around a world like the one in the standard MapleStory and MapleStory Adventures using two new characters: Fenris the Dual Blade and Rei the Mechanic. You can fight the Black Wings, that threaten the Maple World and there’s a catch here: if you want extra features you’ll have to pay.

For example, mini games, storage, mailbox for sending other players messages are all available at cost. The app takes up 40 MB and gives you access to a huge fully explorable map, 3 mini games, custom touch UI so you can customize your experience, 3 control schemes and regular updates for extra adventures. You can download the game from here.
