  • If you want all of your IM accounts into one experience on the Android tablet, then LilyPad HD is a an app you’ll like. This software now gets 50% off the normal price, going for $0.99. This is called “the first floating instant messaging app on the Android tablet”. The app has great multitasking abilities, just like the ones on a desktop.

The app floats on top of all the other running applications, so you can continue watching a video or surfing the web, even as you chat away. The software left beta recently and it comes with adjustable chat windows, Quick Hide mode, the option to minimize chat windows completely and tabbed chatting for multiple conversations. It supports Google Talk, Facebook Messenger and recently it got MSN Messenger as well. Tablified Apps, the maker of the app says that if you experience any issues, you should contact them and they’ll back to you within 12 hours or less.

In the future LilyPad HD will also get Skype support, Yahoo and AIM, all of them welcome IM clients. From the looks of it, as shown in the video below, the app moves fluidly and it doesn’t take up too much screen estate, being very compact and intuitive. You can download it from here.
