  • Launchers, launchers… there are a ton of them in the Google Play Store, but never enough for the people who really want to customize their devices. Another one has arrived and it’s called KitKat Launcher+.

This one is said to have been compiled from AOSP and it’s based on simplicity and minimalism. The developer behind the app claims that KitKat Launcher+ is focused on being clean and stable, plus being faithful to the stock KitKat experience. Keep in mind that there’s no quick access to the Google Now/OK Google functionality, so not all the KitKat special features are here.

Using the app you can hide the Google Search bar, change the grid size, center the home screen and configure the behaviour of the Home button. You can also get easy access to the App Ops section to manage app permissions and backup and restore. The software runs on devices with Android 4.3 or later. You can download it for free from here.
