  • The latest versions of the Android OS have been concentrating on offering better multitasking features, along with the different manufacturers integrating their own solutions. On top of that, developers have also decided to take matters into their own hands, offering highly appreciated apps for improved multitasking of their own.

From developer Acela Apps you can now install Kakudo on your Android 2.3+ device. The app is designed to offer improved app switching capabilities and enhanced multitasking. By way of swiping your finger from either the left or right part of the screen, you can have the app reveal a list of the most recently used apps. Swiping gestures are also available for the top and bottom side, where you can have a list of your favorite apps that you can use for instant access.

Kakudo also makes it possible to access the different settings of the Android OS with great ease. The favorite apps menu can also be used to add different toggles to the most used functions. You can drag and drop to reorder/remove apps/toggles from the favorite ppps drawer and change the swipe gestures sensitivity, among other settings. The app is available in a Lite – Free version and also a Pro version that can be purchased for about $0.99.
