  • While the list of online storage options has been increasing over the last couple of months, it is expected that with the passing of the time the offers should improve and newcomers should get more free space when joining. Device manufacturers have also started to work on offering their own cloud storage options, including Apple or Asus.

JottaCloud recently released their app for their Google Play Store. It is a service that first and foremost provides users with 15 GB of free cloud storage space. By standard you get 5 GB of free cloud storage but if you get the Android client now, it will bump you up to 15 GB. After you download and install the app on your device you will be prompted to create an account. After you’ve finished entering your credentials, you will receive an email telling you you have earned 10 GB of space for free.

The app includes automatically synchronization of your contacts, photos, videos, music and text messages with the touch of a finger. It includes an engine that instantly detects any changes in your media library or files and acts accordingly. The client is available for multiple platforms, including PC’s with Windows and Mac, so you can access your files at any time from everywhere. The Android app features a modern Holo interface which is a joy to use and easy to understand.

Get Jottacloud for Android for free from the Play Store.
