  • What seems to have started with Facebook in the social services area now has plenty of offers available, so many that the number 1 social service is now only an option out of the countless available. While Facebook offers the ability to share … well just about anything, other services only specialize in a certain type of media.

Instagram is one of the services that started on the right foot and managed to gather a very large number of supporters on the iOS platform. Later it became available for Android where it again greatly expanded the number of social adepts to now reach a number of several million of active users.

The social service has now introduced a highly requested feature to its portfolio. Since we’re talking about a photo sharing service, the Photos of You feature now lets users tag each other into photos they plan on sharing. When browsing the feed you now only have to tap a photo once to reveal the name of the subject in question. It will be available for both the Android and iOS platforms and we await other such great features for this year.
