  • iGO is one of the most famous and pirated pieces of software on iOS and a very popular choice when it comes to navigation software. It’s now coming to Android apparently, although it’s only available on the Play Store for people in Israel.

This proves that the company NavNGo, the one behind iGO is prepping for an international release at some point. A while ago our sister site, Mobilissimo.ro contacted the branch from Hungary and asked them about this availability, but such a release was dismissed officially. The company seems to prefer working with hardware makers directly.

An example would be the cooperation with Motorola, that resulted in the release of Motonav, which is a rebranded iGO for the Motorola Milestone handset, for example. Now this strategy seems to have come to an end and we’ll see a proper Android release soon, for the entire Europe and USA, with a bit of luck.
