  • The Hulu Plus app for Android has just received an update, that adds support for more devices. The last update brought tablet support and now more formats are included. The Galaxy S II family is now available to run Hulu Plus, as well as the Galaxy Tab 2, HTC One S and a couple more.

Up until now people were sideloading the APK on the unsupported devices, but it’s better to comply with official features, right? The changelog also mentions improvements of support for 7 inch tablets and high resolution screens. This is a free app, that allows unlimited instant streaming, with subscription required. You can stream your favourite TV shows using a Hulu Plus subscription and know that all Android 2.2+ compatible phones and tablets with Android 3.0+ are supported in the USA.

Among the shows you can watch there’s Modern Family, The Office, Family Guy and a bunch of others. The subscription sets you back $7.99 a month with limited advertising and you can watch stuff over WiFi, 3G and 4G. The app is created by Hulu and can be downloaded from here.
