  • During yesterday’s HTC meant to debut the Desire Eye selfie phone and the RE Camera, the Asian company also launched the HTC Zoe app, version 1.0. It’s now available in the Play Store, up for download here.

HTC announced months ago that it was going to turn Zoe into a social network of sorts and continues this plan. The video sharing and remixing app has exited the beta phase and it’s now available for Android 4.3+ devices. The software lets you turn pics and videos into highlight reels, with music in the background. Your friends can also remix your shots with theirs, creating collaborative clips and mixes.

These can be 7, 15 or 30 seconds long and the new Zoe also works with the freshly launched RE action camera. There are also slight UI updates from the beta launched in August and Zoes can now be made of a couple of photos or a series of video clips. HTC will also release a new content engine later this year, so you can make smaller clips or single pics into Zoes.

For some reason Motorola devices are not supported.
