HTC Sense Camera Reaches Google Edition HTC One

  • The folks of XDA Developers managed to squeeze out the HTC Sense camera experience from HTC One and port it to the Google Edition of the phone. Previously, only days after the HTC One GE came out we saw ROMs on the web that implemented its experience on the original device.


    The software you need is up for download here and it takes up just 3.07 MB of space, which I don’t think includes HTC Zoe, as much as I’d like it to. I see an user on XDA saying this doesn’t work on CyanogenMod, but it’s a release for the Google Edition after all, so maybe that’s why it doesn’t work. The dev promised to also implement the HTC album here and he may even bring Zoe along.

    Recently I’ve also heard about a Switch tool that would allow a HTC One user to switch between stock Android 4.2.2 and HTC Sense on his device, so things are evolving fast for One users. I don’t see that many units sold for the Google Edition, though…
