HTC Launches its Flagship Smartphone – ONE (Video)
Long before HTC ever made an official announcement regarding their plans for introducing a new smartphone, rumors were spread on the internet about the manufacturers ultimate device that was going to be named HTC M7 or One. Today the smartphone was officially introduced.
HTC sent invitations a while back for their event held today, in order to announce one of their most highly expected devices to date. After the Butterfly on the Asian market and the DNA in the US for Verizon managed to score positive reviews, for the European market HTC was preparing something even more spectacular. HTC One is going past the quad-core hardware configuration and past the 1080p display, to offer something that is for the first time introduced in the smartphone market. And that in a great aluminium body that features a design worthy of all consideration – in black and white.
HTC´s flagship device – One features lots of proprietary innovations to make it stand out in all areas, with functions like HTC BlinkFeed ™, HTC Zoe BoomSound ™, and the latest version of HTC Sense – custom Android skin adding great extra potential to the platform. At the heart of the experience offered by the new HTC One is HTC´s BlinkFeed – that turns the main screen in a steady stream of personalized information, and news from the social media, entertainment, lifestyle, news and photos.
With the HTC One the manufacturer has included another rumored innovation – UltraPixel Camera that promises to redefine how users take pictures and share them across the web. The new device gives users the ability to shoot at very high resolution with the new HTC One integrating a special camera that includes a lens with f/2.0 aperture and a revolutionary sensor with 4 UltraPixels that holds 300% more light than the traditional sensors of a camera smartphone. This new approach brings a significant performance in low light conditions and a number of other improvements in quality of photos and videos. The device offers a full HD SLCD 3 display that is 4.7 inches in diagonal, a quad-core configuration with Android Jelly Bean on board. It is expected to be available somewhere next month.
