  • Managing and launching apps on our Android device can become tiresome if we have to scroll through all the pages to finally get to the one we want. While there are some great alternatives on the Store for quick launch of apps, some are worth more than others. Here is a good one.

HomeFlip by developer Lean and mean is designed to help users get the best out of their smartphone. It provides quick and convenient access to your favorite apps or the entire list if you so wish. There are also lots of customisable options, including themes support and different display alternatives. The app can be set as the default way of launching apps, to work with the stock launcher when you press the home button. It provides nice animations though for a boost in speed you can disable them in the settings menu.

Once installed, you will have to first customize HomeFlip to suit your needs. The app is good for both right headed and left headed as it can be ajusted in the options menu. Anyway, if it appears from the right side, one can drag the slider of an app to the left to add it to favorites or remove it entirely by dragging it all the way to the right. In the options menu you will find you can customize just about every aspect of it. There is also an option to display only the icons and favorites making it very easy to locate the app you need. HomeFlip can prove to be the best way of launching apps.
