  • Hitfox just unveiled the world’s first mobile game focused affiliate network, that accompanies the game discovery app Game Finder. The affiliate network refers consumers to mobile games with prices starting from 50 cents and includes titles from the likes of Gameloft, GameForge, Kabam, TinyCo, Fishlabs and 6waves.

AppLift is the name of the network and will probably get huge support from developers and game makers. The goal is set to reach 500 to 1000 affiliates by the year end and refer new gamers on iOS, Android and other platforms for at least 100 game publishers. Game Finder is focused on the user experience, serving as a quality filter for hundreds of thousands of apps on the market and showing only the best games out there. The titles have been chosen by a team of game testers who picked out 500 games for day one.

We’ve seen an increase in app selection tools, like that application called Tablet Market, that picks up tablet apps for Android and lists them for you. This now also happens to game, showing once again that the Google Play Store management and content showcasing is so poor that it needs extra help. I often had troubles finding an app I was looking for and even a game… so the Hitfox services may come in handy.
