Here’s How To Unlock the Easter Egg in the Daydream Feature of Android 4.2

  • Yesterday we talked about the Daydrem feature in the new version of the Android OS – 4.2. It is an active screen saver can be both useful and fun to watch. You can activate it by going into the device’s Settings/Display/Daydream. Once there you can activate the feature by toggling the On/Off switch in the top right corner. The feature can also be customized through the available modes as shown in the article.


    I guess every Android user knows by now that with every new feature of the OS Google includes an Easter Egg. It is a hidden feature that is usually found in the device’s Settings<About Phone and multiple taps on the Android version field. Once an image showing the version is displayed, you only need to keep  your finger on it until in displays some kind of interactive (or not) animation.

    This is the case with Android 4.2 only once you access the Easter Egg showing a bunch of beans on the screen that you can interact with, it also actictivates the feature in the Daydream mode. Now you can set it as an active screen saver. Watch the demo video posted by Android Central below:
