  • HBO Go, the famous app that brings shows like Game of Thrones and Curb Your Enthusiasm to your tablet just got updated and now offers supported for Jelly Bean devices. This is the official HBO streaming app and the update is pushed to smartphone users and tablet users, too.

Nexus 7 owners will be happy to know that now the app works on their devices, as I supposed that before today it didn’t. HBO actually released the update two days ago, but it didn’t seem to work on Jelly Bean at that time. This time we get a working update, with streaming support for all Android devices. HBO Go is a free app, only working as long as there’s an existing cable subscription to HBO. The app itself is free, it requires Android 2.1 to work and it takes up around 9MB of storage.

It received millions of installations already and offers access to over 1,400 HBO shows, including original programming and sports. There’s also the option to create a custom watchlist and set a Series Pass to load your list with the HBO Original Series you like so much. You can download the new app from here.
