  • HBO has just updated the famous video streaming app we know and love called HBO Go. The app is now up to date and running on Android tablets up to version 4.0.4. Previously, the software only worked on Android handsets and the Kindle Fire tablet. Through HBO Go users can watch their favourite HBO series on demand on varied devices, from tablets to TVs.

Over 1400 titles are available here, including hot shows like Game of Thrones and True Blood. You can legally stream the content using this application, everything completely free. Sadly, the app doesn’t offer Android Jelly Bean support just yet. When I say “free”, I mean that you will be able to use the app only if you have a cable package and a subscription to HBO. So, if you’re the owner of an Android tablet and a HBO subscription you can get the app from here and have fun with it.

The compatibility list mentions models such as the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T, the Prime tablet, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Transformer TF101 and more. The app takes up 8.1MB of space and allows you to create a custom watchlist, set up a Series Pass to automatically load the list with all the HBO Original Series you like.
