Google Voice Updated to Include Fixes for Android 4.2
Installing Android 4.2 in the form of an update or stock image would have left you without Google Voice. The app force closed as soon as the user tried to open it. Unlike with the previous versions of the OS, the Google apps haven’t seen that many updates and changes with the announcement of Android 4.2.
With the launch of the updates for the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus to Android 4.2 Google has also released software improvements to enable certain features on the new Nexus devices. These include the widgets in the lockscreen and multiple user support.
Today Google also launched an update to fix the issue that would render Google voice useless in Android 4.2. It is also now integrated with Android 4.0 visual voicemail and you get direct access to folders from the inbox in Android 4.0. The updated app can be downloaded for free from the Play Store.
